About us

Located just 36kms North West of Hobart, the New Norfolk Caravan Park is situated on the banks of the beautiful Derwent River.

The park has 40 powered sites. 28 are drive-through sites and the other 12 are suited for motorhomes and small caravans. We also have two self-contained cabins and there are also 25 unpowered site spaces in the park, all of which are grassed with plenty of trees to provide shade.

There are many attractions within the surrounding areas that are appropriate for people of all ages such as the historical Salmon Ponds, Mount Field National Park and Historic Willow Court.   The New Norfolk Caravan Park offers full facilities for the traveller including:

  • Modern laundry
  • Free showers
  • Undercover barbecue
  • Camp kitchen
  • Fridges

The Park is pet-friendly, but dogs must be under control and kept on a lead at all times.
