About us

Tassie Bound is a Tasmanian adventure kayaking tour business specialising in day kayak tours on the Derwent River, Huon River and Lake Pedder in the Southwest National Park.

It’s our passion to showcase Tasmania’s most beautiful and impressive natural settings, reconnect people to nature and provide an informative and truly memorable outdoor adventure experience. Tassie Bound Adventure Tours has been in operation since 2011, uncovering secrets of their region that most locals don’t even know exist and curating adventures you can’t have on your own!

Tassie Bound strives to leave “tourism” behind and embrace the idea of sharing. We endeavour to unfold all the wonders and unique qualities of the place that we call our home as we believe that the most memorable travel experiences are those that provide an authentic connection to place, nature and people.

Our gourmet lunches are sourced from local and statewide produce to ensure that our tour guests sample the quality of Tasmania’s finest food. Whether produce is handpicked straight from our organic vegetable garden or prepared with love at the local Possum Shed, quality is assured with our world-class ingredients.
